August 2009
Bexhill Pharmacy (architect: Faulkner Associates) receives a "Highly Commended" award at the Sussex Heritage Awards 2009. This project was a conversion of an existing storage area within a listed train station to a new pharmacy. Refer to the Sussex Heritage website for further details.

We have set up a separate web site, www.lowenergydesign.co.uk, detailing a number of "off-the-shelf" services. Rather than requiring a client to commit to a full design, we have tailored a number of services which can be provided individually. These include Energy Performance Certificates as well as thermal modelling.

Completion of our fourth year of training.
December 2008
We have now updated our accreditation for domestic energy performance certificates using the Elmhurst software for generation of the certificates. This enables us to provide a full service to clients with mixed use developments.
June 2008
We are now able to provide Energy Performance Certificates using both SBEM and thermal modelling calculations. This enables us to provide certificates for level 3, 4 and 5 type buildings (i.e. all types of buildings). We are accredited through the CIBSE Accreditation scheme, refer to www.cibsecertification.co.uk for more details.

ndesign are pleased to announce their involvement in West Sussex County Council's ENGAUGE project. Currently a trial project on a number of schools in the West Sussex region, the project is aimed to implement sustainable issues into schools and to measure the schools sustainable record. A key point of the scheme is to allow the students to be actively involved in the process. Contact us for further information.

ndesign are pleased to announce the successful training for our engineers to obtain registration as LOW CARBON CONSULTANTS, as scheme set up by CIBSE and supported by the Carbon Trust. For further details from the CIBSE web site (click here).

ndesign obtains accreditation as an approved CHAS contractor. A number of our clients use the Contractors Health and Safety scheme run by the government as a pre-qualification to prove the company's health and safety qualifications. To achieve approval the company must prove to the auditor that a number of heath and safety measures are set up and operating within the company. These measures cover risk assessments for work both in the office and on site as well as a suitable health and safety policy. Please refer to the links page for further details on the CHAS scheme.
